Seems to me that just when I seem to have my life on track, I sabotage it. I mean, who in their right mind finishes unpacking pictures (after 2-1/2 years here) and then buys a new home? What am I doing? I live by an excellent school for Cole and have a great ward here but no, I must move ten miles away and now will drive a half hour to bring Cole to school twice a day. Whoopee... Okay, the house is wonderful, or at least it will be.....sometime.....soon.....I hope. We sprang a leak last week so on top of having everyone working on it at the same time, working over, under and around each other, the plumber had to pull a wall apart and the ceiling will need to be replaced, but hey! can't complain. Everyone is trying so hard to complete things so we can carpet at least part of the house before we move. So, tomorrow I get to go sit at the house all morning to wait for my faucets to be delivered. I just love the four hour window thing, but all in all, I'm really excited just to sit there.
So what have I learned...nothing much but you can buy anything on the Internet, including toilets, sinks, tubs and faucets! Also, at amazing prices!
Unfortunately, I have not learned....I shared this with my mother and then had to try to explain over the phone how to search for the faucets she wants for her bathroom. 30 minutes later, after hearing my mother and father get slightly frustrated with each other because part numbers they had didn't match exactly with the websites descriptions, I gave up and e-mailed the exact item numbers so she could just enter them directly instead and I cleared out. Hope it went well.
So, the house is coming along and I enjoy spending time in the chaos. It is relaxing to be there and I'm so excited because I know what it will be in the end.
